Butoh Parade and Opening Reception at ArtXchange Gallery

Here are photos taken during the Opening Reception for Mandala at ArtXchange Gallery, Seattle, WA: Contemporary Interpretations of the Ancient Form, with a special Butoh dance and musical performance by Kaoru Okumura and Co. This reception was held during the First Thursday Seattle Artwalk, on July 3rd, 2014. Photo by Hiroyuki Yamada.

I joined a Butoh parade wearing white kimono for the first time. It was fun! My mixed media pieces are also available at the gallery!
